1. Your data is your data

You retain ownership
You and your clients own all farm and business data on the platform. Full stop.
We're data processors
Regeno uses your data only to deliver and improve the services you ask for. Nothing else.
Full control
Access, export and remove your data from the system anytime. No questions asked.
Never sold or shared
We will not sell or share identifiable farm data with third parties without your explicit permission.

2. What we collect and why
Every piece of data serves a purpose. Nothing more, nothing less.
Account and organisation details
Name, email, role, consultancy
So we can set up logins, roles and support
Farm, parcel and scheme data
SBI numbers, RPA parcels, SFI and CS agreements
So we can parse agreements, link actions to fields and track compliance
Evidence and media
Photos, videos, voice notes, documents and surveys
So we can store evidence, link it to the right parcel and generate inspection ready reports
Usage and technical data
Login activity, features used, device and browser data
So we can keep the platform secure and improve the product
Payment security
Payment card details are handled by secure payment processors, not stored by Regeno.
3. How we use and share data
Three clear categories. Complete transparency.
To deliver the service
- Parse agreements into actions
- Link evidence to parcels and schemes
- Power the oversight dashboard and report generation
- Calculate RegenScore where this is part of the service you have asked for
To improve the product
- Aggregate usage data to see which features are working
- Diagnose bugs and performance issues
- None of this is used to create competitive profiles of individual farms
Optional sharing
- With your clear permission, we may share RegenScores or selected data with a lender you choose
- Regeno is not a lender - we are an introducer and may earn fees on arrangements
- Any use of your data in aggregated benchmarks is strictly opt in
What we never do
We do not grant other agritech tools, supply chain actors or unrelated third parties access to your identifiable farm data without explicit consent.
4. Who can see what
Transparency matters. Here's exactly who can access your data and why.
Your Organisation
You control which consultants, team members and farmers are invited. Role based permissions mean people only see what they need.
Within Regeno
Limited staff may access data to provide support and keep the service running. Access is restricted, logged and governed by internal policies.
Service Providers
We use trusted providers for hosting, storage, analytics and communications. They are bound by contracts and cannot use your data for their own purposes.
5. Security, control and farmer reassurance
We know many farmers are increasingly wary of handing over data that others can monetise. Farmwalk is designed to be on the right side of that conversation.
Security by design
Encryption in transit and at rest, role based access, audit logs and incident response processes.
Full export and exit
If you ever leave the platform, you can request exports of your farm and evidence data in standard formats such as CSV, Excel or JSON.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you and your clients can access, correct, delete and export personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. Get in touch and we'll support these rights through our helpdesk.
